We are located in beautiful Berkeley, California on Ellsworth at the corner of Channing Way.
I'm Dr. Jamie Hampton, DAOM, L.Ac, and my partner is Dr. Anahita Forati, DAOM, L.Ac.
She and I both have extended studies at hospitals throughout China, and saw the magic and effectiveness of treating many many patients for little money. We had an idea that transcended the current state of health care as we know it here in the US.
Our story is simple.
One day back in May, 2009, we decided on Golden Leaf Community Acupuncture. We both believe that is a crime that good people are being turned down by health insurance agencies for just living and trying their best.
We believe that everyone deserves to be healthy, that everyone deserves to live their lives, and that going bankrupt from medical treatments is criminal.
Golden Leaf Community Acupuncture is the future of health care.
Our combined specialties are Oncology Support, Pain Management, Sport Injuries and Women's Primary Care. We both have had extensive experience treating these and a myriad of other medical conditions.
Golden Leaf Community Acupuncture Clinic is a sliding scale clinic that allows for extremely affordable health care. Our sliding scale is $20-50 dollars. The idea is, we see you more frequently, so you can experience the profound effects of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine in a comfortable, clean and quiet environment.
Our plan is to not only treat, but also to educate about traditional Chinese medicine as we go along, so please, bring your questions, and be prepared to experience Golden Leaf Community Acupuncture.
